Respect Curriculum
At St John's we believe in the importance of teaching our pupils how to respect themselves, respect others and respect the environment we live in. We have developed our RESPECT curriculum which incorporates leaning about the British values, social, spiritual, social and cultural development and keeping themselves safe such as on-line safety. It also encompasses relationships and sex education and teaches pupils about the protected characteristics. Developing good emotional well-being is also taught within the RESPECT curriculum. We use a variety of schemes including no outsiders, NSPCC such as the Pants project and stay safe, speak out as well as aspects of the dimensions curriculum.
