Rev Dr C Rudd (Chair 18/10/2022 to 19/10/2023 ) - crudd@st-johns-stafford.staffs.sch.uk Appointed by Foundation/Trust - Term of Office ends 26/08/2026 Hello I am Reverend Dr Carl Rudd. I am the Rector for St Johns Church just down the road from school towards town. Church comes into school every week to take assembly either with Megan Davies or myself. School comes into church for the special celebrations of the year. This is such a valuable relationship. We believe in what the school is doing for the children that the church seeks to support the work of the school both during the school day and with the local academy committee. |

| Mum to twin girls who have just left St John's, I am a qualified children nurse and have lived in Stafford for over 20 years. I am a very happy, positive and active person, both socially and in my career. This is my first governor role and I feel privileged to be beginning a journey of working with such a hardworking, motivated and dedicated staff team. Since my children started school in 2016 , I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow in such a caring and vibrant environment. I will dedicate as much time as I need the school, and help in any way I can. |

I've been a Reception teacher for 24 years, the last 14 here at St John's. Early Years is my passion and joy, I really enjoy seeing the pupils I have taught develop and grow as they progress through our school. Outside of school I enjoy all aspects of fitness and exercise especially if it involves running in beautiful areas of the countryside. My rest time usually involves a yoga session. I have no business interests.

Mrs C Swift Parent Representative - Term of Office ends 07/12/2025 I am a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and teacher in 4 Penkridge Schools. I have been teaching for 17 years and thoroughly love my job. My passion is supporting children with special educational needs and training staff on various strategies to overcome barriers in the classroom. Before working in Penkridge, I spent 10 years at a school in Stone and 3 years in Wolverhampton. All of them provided me with valuable experiences that have enabled me to fulfil my current role. My son is currently in Year 3 and it is wonderful watching him grow academically, emotionally and socially in school. It is a pleasure to join the school and I'm looking forward to being involved in school life. |

Having spent thirty years in a large primary school in Trentham – both teaching and on the Leadership Team – I retired and am now training as a curate at St John’s Church. I come into school to read to the children and am involved, alongside Reverend Rudd and Megan Davies, in providing worship opportunities for both the children and the staff. I am delighted to have the chance to combine previous experience with my new role.
Mr T Harris
Parent Representative - Term of Office ends 04/11/2026
I have been an engineering and construction professional for over 17 years. I have volunteered as a STEM ambassador for over 16 years with a keen passion for the learning and development of children. I became an LAC member to use my experience to contribute to the school community. This will also give me a greater insight into the challenges the school faces, supporting and overcoming these. Working alongside the Headteacher and LAC members, I will endeavour to lead by example enabling suitable challenge and courageous advocacy to help create an environment of knowledge and skills to strengthen the ethos of the school.
