Miss E Watts (Vice Chair) 29.10.2022 Safe Recruitment, EYFS I was a primary school teacher for nearly 40 years - the last 22 years were at St. John's school. I had various roles throughout my career including the Early Years Foundation Co-ordinator and the KS1 Co-ordinator. I completed my career as Assistant Headteacher. I retired from full time teaching in 2008 but continued to do supply work at the school. I was the teacher representative on the governing body for a number of years and I have been a Community Governor since retiring. I am currently the Vice Chair of Governors and listen to readers in KS1 on a voluntary basis. No business interests.

Principal I started my career in Education as a nursery nurse at a special school. I have been a qualified teacher since 1997 and have taught in all year groups. St John's is my third headship and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I have a passion for ensuring that every child receives the best education possible. I aim for our pupils to be confident and motivated learners who enjoy coming to school. No business interests

26.08.2022 Staff Representative I have spent over 20 years working in education within a variety of settings, from playgroup, primary schools to all age day and residential special schools. Outwith St John's, I am Chair of Governors of the small first school in our village. I feel that this experience and passion for education for all aids me in my role as Staff Governor. Mrs S Wedgwood I was appointed Chief Executive Officer of St. Chad's Academies Trust in September 2016. I have been a Headteacher in three schools in the West Midlands. I was also an external assessor for Derby University, Associate lecturer for Manchester Metropolitan University, delivering MSc modules and a provider of PGCE modules for Keele University. I served as a Senior Adviser for Stoke LA, responsible for CPD and community development, Assistant Managing Director for Walsall Children's Services, Serco, responsible for school improvement 3-19, governance and ICT and then Director of School Improvement for Academy Transformation Trust. Other business interests: Local academy committe member at two other academies.
Mrs E Bull 26.08.2022 Mum to twin girls in Year 1, I am a qualified children nurse and have lived in Stafford for over 20 years. I am a very happy, positive and active person, both socially and in my career. This is my first governor role and I feel privileged to be beginning a journey of working with such a hardworking, motivated and dedicated staff team. Since my children started school in 2016 , I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow in such a caring and vibrant environment. I will dedicate as much time as I need the school, and help in any way I can. No business interests.
Mr I Pearce 26.08.2022 I have recently been posted to Stafford within the military I have two boys, One in year 5 in St Johns School. I have been in the Military for 23 years and have been a governor in my sons last three schools. Im also a FA football coach for Stafford Town Club. I feel privileged to have been selected to become a governor of the school and look forward to helping the school carry on the great work they are already doing. No business interests.
Rev Dr C Rudd (Chair) 26.08.2022 Hello I'm Rev'd Dr Carl Rudd. I am the Rector for St Johns Church just down the road from school towards town. Church comes into school every week to take assembly either with Megan Davies or myself. School comes into church for the special celebrations of the year. This is such a valuable relationship. We believe in what the school is doing for the children that the church seeks to support the work of the school both during the school day and with the local academy committee. No business interests.
Mrs S Hill 10.02.2022 I have many years of experience working in the finance industry and the last 15 years have been in the education sector and I would like to bring that expertise to the Governing Body. I was a Parent Governor for 14 years at St John's when it was a Local Authority Maintained School and I was the Chair of the Finance Committee for 8 years which has given me vast experience of the school. Now, as a member of the Local Academy Committee, I aim to be an active committee member with particular interest in the finances of the Academy. No business interests.
