Miss E Watts (Vice Chair) 22.11.2020 PREVENT, SEND, Safe Recruitment, Safeguarding I was a primary school teacher for nearly 40 years - the last 22 years were at St. John's school. I had various roles throughout my career including the Early Years Foundation Co-ordinator and the KS1 Co-ordinator. I completed my career as Assistant Headteacher. I retired from full time teaching in 2008 but continued to do supply work at the school. I was the teacher representative on the governing body for a number of years and I have been a Community Governor since retiring. I am currently the Vice Chair of Governors and listen to readers in KS1 on a voluntary basis.

Principal I started my career in Education as a nursery nurse at a special school. I have been a qualified teacher since 1997 and have taught in all year groups. St John's is my third headship and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I have a passion for ensuring that every child receives the best education possible. I aim for our pupils to be confident and motivated learners who enjoy coming to school.

26.08.2022 Staff Representative I have spent over 20 years working in education within a variety of settings, from playgroup, primary schools to all age day and residential special schools. Outwith St John's, I am Chair of Governors of the small first school in our village. I feel that this experience and passion for education for all aids me in my role as Staff Governor.
Ms Z Heath 31.08.2022 St. Chad's Academies Representative & Health and Safety Governor For 5 years I have worked in HR for Local Authorities in a transitional role, embedding experience in the many areas of Human Resource and traded service; advertising, recruitment, safeguarding, payroll and pensions, both corporately and in the education sector (working alongside Lichfield Diocese CE schools). For the last 3 years I have gained further extensive experience of academy conversions (pre and post academisation) and developed project management practices. I am an Associate Member of the CIPD in Human Resource Management providing HR consultancy for all academies within the Trust and other MATs, schools and academies within the Diocese.
Mrs E Bull 26.08.2022 Mum to twin girls in Year 1, I am a qualified children nurse and have lived in Stafford for over 20 years. I am a very happy, positive and active person, both socially and in my career. This is my first governor role and I feel privileged to be beginning a journey of working with such a hardworking, motivated and dedicated staff team. Since my children started school in 2016 , I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow in such a caring and vibrant environment. I will dedicate as much time as I need the school, and help in any way I can.

Mrs C Short 16.10.2021 I am the Youth and Children's Minister at St. John's Church. I have been in this role for the last 7 years and working in Stafford Deanery for 10 years. Overall I have been working in this ministry for 21 years. During my time in Stafford I have worked closely with St. John's School to provide collective and classroom worship opportunities. I have been a Foundation Governor and now a Local Academy Committee member. I am passionate about how faith impacts life and learning opportunities. My role on the LAC is to ensure that we maintain our Christian values and principles. I worked closely with the school through our last SIAMS inspection and will continue to work us toward maintaining our outstanding SIAMS report.
Mrs S Hill 11.02.2022 I have many years of experience working in the finance industry and the last 15 years have been in the education sector and I would like to bring that expertise to the Governing Body. I was a Parent Governor for 14 years at St John's when it was a Local Authority Maintained School and I was the Chair of the Finance Committee for 8 years which has given me vast experience of the school. Now, as a member of the Local Academy Committee, I aim to be an active committee member with particular interest in the finances of the Academy.
Mrs S Wedgwood (Chair) Chair of Governors I was appointed Chief Executive Officer of St. Chad's Academies Trust in September 2016. I have been a Headteacher in three schools in the West Midlands. I was also an external assessor for Derby University, Associate lecturer for Manchester Metropolitan University, delivering MSc modules and a provider of PGCE modules for Keele University. I served as a Senior Adviser for Stoke LA, responsible for CPD and community development, Assistant Managing Director for Walsall Children's Services, Serco, responsible for school improvement 3-19, governance and ICT and then Director of School Improvement for Academy Transformation Trust.
